A multi-account lets you connect several GuruScribe accounts to one main account. The main (parent) account shares its transcription-minute balance with linked child accounts.

When a child account processes a file, transcription minutes are deducted from the parent account first. If the parent balance is exhausted, minutes are deducted from the child account’s own balance.

You can link an unlimited number of child accounts to one main account. Each child account can be linked to only one parent account.

Make sure the audio or video plays correctly and contains an audio track. If the file is damaged or has no sound, upload a working file or use another source.

A temporary internet connection issue may interrupt the upload. Check your connection and try uploading the file again. If the problem continues, try another browser, network or supported upload method.

GuruScribe can process links only from supported platforms. If a link comes from an unsupported website, download the video or audio file and upload it directly instead.

GuruScribe cannot access private or permission-restricted files. Make the file accessible through the supported platform or download it and upload the file directly.

Your available transcription balance is lower than the duration required for this file. You can switch to a paid plan, purchase additional minutes where available, or use beyond-plan processing at the applicable rate shown on the Pricing page.

GuruScribe supports most common audio and video formats. If your file format is not supported, convert it to a supported format such as MP4, MP3, M4A or WAV and upload it again.

This can happen when the recording contains very low-quality audio, heavy background noise, overlapping speech, distorted voices or sections that are difficult to understand. For better results, use the clearest available recording and avoid accelerated or heavily processed audio.
