This policy covers cookies and comparable browser storage used by GuruScribe.ai. Necessary storage supports the features you request. Optional analytics is a separate choice.
1. Necessary storage
Authentication cookies and browser-stored access/refresh tokens keep registered sessions working. The guruscribe_guest_token entry in localStorage is a random guest file-access key; deleting it can remove access to guest files. Interface preferences and the saved cookie choice support settings and privacy controls. LocalStorage entries remain until cleared or replaced; session and authentication data also follow their token validity and logout behaviour.
These items are used to deliver requested functionality and protect access, not to train models or identify speakers. You can clear browser data, but may need to sign in again or contact support to recover guest access.
2. Optional measurement
Optional measurement uses Yandex Metrica, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity integrations after consent, on selected public pages only. Private file, account and payment pages do not load these integrations. Metrica session replay is disabled and page text is masked for Clarity. These tools help us understand visits and service use. These are external analytics providers, not transcription or summary providers. Their requests can disclose device, page and IP information and can involve processing outside the EEA. Recordings and transcript contents must not be included in analytics events.
Your choice is saved for up to 180 days. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to accept or reject optional measurement and change that choice later. Refusal does not prevent using the core service. The privacy notice describes international processing and how to exercise data rights.
3. PayPal and other sites
When you choose to pay and navigate to PayPal, PayPal may use its own cookies and storage under its own notice. We do not control storage set by another website. Browser controls can limit cookies across sites, but may affect login or checkout.
